Issue with horn assembly–2017 VW Jetta

My 2017 Jetta with about 24,000 mi., a certified pre-owned vehicle purchased from Flow VW, Greensboro, recently required the replacement of the entire horn assembly at a cost of around $250. I have no complaints re. the service dept. at the dealership but I was surprised that the horn assembly would have gone out this early in the vehicle's life. I have owned several VW's (driven well over 100,000 miles), as well as other vehicles (Audi, Volvo, Chrysler, Nissan, Mitsubishi), and never had the entire horn assembly require replacement. Relays, fuses, etc., did need replacement from time to time but never the entire assembly. Is this a problem with 2017 VW Jettas? While I am pleased with the car aside from this issue, I was surprised at the needed repair. John Mark Beam, 2134 NC 61, Liberty, NC 27298 jmbeamiii@***.com
