Refusal to accept my “$5 rewards” credit

I purchased and had to painstakingly scan dozens of receipts totaling over $75 in food and drinks just to get a $5 "reward" on the TC phone app. When I tried to "collect" my reward as a reduction of my bill, the clerk said I had to spend ANOTHER $75! User's recommendation: Don't bother with their "promotions"...not worth the effort for the measly reward.
