The Post Office needs a lot of help. Last year during April, it took 2 weeks to get a small package from St. Louis MO to Rochester MI. My sweets baked arrived moldy due to the length of time. Much of this was attributed to the Pandemic and the previous administration. The Post Office said it would take 3 days for priority small packages, but they lied. Truth is paramount. They provide excuses that nothing is guaranteed. That is not a high performance answer. I tried this again this year in January 2021 and the same results occurred. It took 2 weeks to get a small package delivered. I will not use the Post Office again for awhile until this mess is cleared up. When can I expect better performance once again when the delivery dates can be met? Yesterday, June 2, 2021, I sent the following to the Better Business Bureau. Complaint sent to the BBB, case number is 1552****: I left a note for my postal carrier to hold mail starting April 25, 2021 and deliver by May 7, 2021. My mail was never delivered until the week of May 24, 2021. I have missed important dates for bills and personal responses by a given date. I have mail showing postage from April 26, 2021 that was never delivered on May 7th as requested. All the marketing junk was included which should not have been. My mailbox was stuffed so tight, it took me over 5 minutes to unblock it without tearing mail. I want my mail carrier retrained or fired! I have stopped using the USPS for mailing packages as of 3 months ago. Your performance is horrible. You have lost a package sending customer. USPS performance is atrocious! As a tax payer, the wrong management is leading this organization. Shame, shame, shame. Thank you for your consideration to this issue. User's recommendation: Don't use USPS for sending packages; instead use a competitors...their performance is much better. Also, if you hold mail, make sure when you want deliver that you call them on your return if it hasn't started being delivered. My note to my carrier has always worked for 30 years until this last time.
