Comcast is a monopoly in San Jose, CA. Hence, they charge very high prices, and we have no other alternative for home internet. My friends got 1 GB fiber for $65 to $75 in Milpitas, Fremont area. Comcast broadband was charging $100 to $130. Again, there is a monthly limit on top of it. I did not notice any service issues, but definitely should have some alternatives to select. User's recommendation: Be competitive in pricing and not to monopolize.
