I signed up for a black card membership that was supposed to be free for a month where upon the membership department at planet fitness immediately try to start billing me luckily I had insufficient funds in my account so one month goes by they have another promotion refer a friend in which I do and they say I am rewarded with another free month however the minute I load $50 on my card to pay a separate bill they IMMEDIATELY take over $40 out of my account. I MEAN RIGHT AWAY HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? YOU KNOW, it doesn't take a math genius to see the problem here how does two free months equal $41 I'm not even halfway through month 2 User's recommendation: I always have major issues with the billing department so I got a cash app card they'll go into your account no matter what it is anytime there's money on it and pull it right out this is the second time I've had a membership with them last time was a couple years ago I had a membership for an entire year with so many billing headaches I would go into the gym and they would tell me I'm not allowed because somehow membership fees for 3 months ago were skipped I'm thinking I'm up to date but they had made a clerical error that took me almost 2 weeks to clear up where I wasn't allowed in the gym but I was still being charged for it sometimes things are too good to be true and you don't always get what you pay for I'm furious how can it even be legit that such a huge franchise be able to offer promotions they can't even follow through with whether it's a oversight and their billing department a clerical error or whatever.
