Under Rated Support Axle

2

We are having the same issues with out Forest River Travel Trailer. It weights in at 9,564lbs, but the factory installed 4,000lbs axles under our trailer. That means we are already 1,564lbs overloaded before we add any additional items to the trailer. We have already replaced 10 tires from ether upgrading the china bomb tires to blow outs. We now have a crack in the frame near the axle supports. Our trailer is now at Camping World looking at having the axles upgraded to 6,000 or 7,000lbs axles and I don't think I should be the one paying for this upgrade, Forest River should. User's recommendation: Check the axle rating before purchasing a Travel Trailer.
