Cardholders BEWARE !! Completely irresponsible transition!!! Capital one dropped communication when they picked up as the bank after synchrony was abandoned. Info letter assured transition would be seamless. WRONG!! Never confirmed that they picked up the card balance, which we thought was near zero. Never heard that we were late on a payment. Now, a year later, we received a letter from collection service stating that with fees and late charges the bill is now more than $700!! Horrible!! Non-existent communication!!! User's recommendation: CAPITAL ONE NEEDS OVERSIGHT!! Would not recommend being a cardholder!!
