Hello, I am saddened to be a victim of Marie's unprofessionalism as a manager. Marie, who happened to be my former manager, terminated my contract today, without any tangible reason. She alleged that the reason for the closure was confidential, which I perceive as not only rude but also unprofessional. Two days before the contract termination, I got a suspension notification with allegations of breaching some of the company regulations, which upto now I am unaware of as they were not stated to me. I enquired from the support team on the reason for the suspension and they all said that only the manager (In this case Marie, who is mostly absent and was then absent) could explain. Two days later (today), Marie came online with a contract termination decision. I Immediately tried enquiring on what led to the decision to no avail. she read, ignored me and thereafter blocked me. I would also like to note that, Immediately I had Marie as my manager, my work-life was filled with fear. She threatened constantly and would never listen to any explanation, however genuine it would be. She instilled so much fear that I severely doubted myself. She put me on probation, for over two months, for a mistake that deserved suspension. Even with positive reviews for the papers I did on probation, she still capitalized on my initial mistake and would never change her mind. My account was small and she gave me a bidding restriction of ten, definitely, I was going to stagnate with that kind of restriction. I feel that she manages people based on her moods and does not have empathy as a leader. Essapro is bigger than a single manager and would request that my case be listened to by a neutral party. She is not only rude, unfair but laso ready to discourage and stop writers' dreams. She definately thinks management is all about shouting to be heard. Am surprised a big company like EssayPro would employ such a person with sick personality. Soon many people will distance themselves from the company thanks to her presence as a 'manager'.
