Dissatisfied with response for a “lemon” we purchased.

We purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator in November 2019, a little more than a year ago. We also purchased the four year protection warranty. WELL, This refrigerator has needed repair just a few months after purchase and because it has not been repaired correctly, we are now awaiting for a new door with electronics built in, which will take fourteen to sixteen weeks . This is after FOUR times of unsuccessful service. The store manager and even the co-owner were indifferent, and even hostile to aiding a repeat customer. In fact, we were ignored. We called Whirlpool directly and they stated had we purchased the warranty DIRECTLY from them rather than Spencer's they would have replaced the refrigerator after the third incident. We asked after the second incident if the refrigerator could be replaced and we even offered to upgrade, and they would not honor this request. User's recommendation: I would discourage anyone from buying at Spencer's . In the four decades we have been customers, their products and customer service has deteriorated signifigantly.
