Our Hunter Douglas shades never worked properly even though they were outrageously expensive. 6 of our 10 shades were originally battery operated. The battery operation was awful. I converted 4 of them to electricity. I had to recalibrate and reset them constantly. Now two of them do not work at all. They only have one service anyplace near Palm Springs, and that store will not even return calls. User's recommendation: Use another brand!
