Website infected by Ransomware

Any trip to the obituary section of the online version of this newspaper trips a nasty ransomware (your browser is obsolete and your files will be erased in 120..119..118..117 etc unless you call this number etc). The problem is absolutely in their website, not the consumer's computer ; I have run every known diagnostic and it returns to that.
