*** Poor Equipment
I recently purchased a camera and a locate for my sewer business with a 5 year warranty. I did about 6 location jobs with the equipment; on the latest location, I ran the camera down the line and noted that the screen was blurring and image was unidentifiable. When I pulled the equipment out to check it I noticed that water was on the inside of the lens, I thought that this was highly unusual as the equipment was new and barely used. I called Probuilt and was told to send the lens back into them and they would replace the lens which was under warranty. I noticed because of the leakage the lens was only put together with four screws and what appeared to be silicon substance of some kind, (obviously not water proof). I have not only lost customers but was treated like a piece of *** when I called them to get information on the part I was expecting "within 5 days" of receipt. It is very agitating when a paying customer gets treated so badly after they're warrantied equipment fails. I requested to speak to the main boss so that I could attempt to resolve this issue and all that I got was hung up on. The cost of this was not only approximately 1800.00 but I also lost at least 5000.00 in contracts while I am waiting on the replacement to arrive via mail. I was then told before they hung up on me that I would be charged 27.00 for delivery of the part. BEWARE BUYERS----DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY ARE A RIP OFF COMPANY!!!!!!
