I purchased DuPont Quartz (Zodiaq) installed in my renovated kitchen. Before we even moved in, the counter had a chip in it. Within 2 weeks there was a second. Installer came out and said that's normal. DuPont said that's NORMAL and to expect MORE. They were correct, We've averaged one chip/scratch per month and have had the counter for 18 months. DuPont refused to send a warranty specialist to see the issue. They then "sent" a letter that we never got, that stated, "Thank you for letting our technician into your home...we determined your issue not to be under warranty." Their claim that their quartz is durable is false advertising. It is fragile! DO NOT BUY DuPont Corian Quartz! User's recommendation: Do not buy DuPont Corian Quartz!
