I dropped my 2016 Tacoma off with a BSM issue. I was quoted $194 to diagnose the problem. I was quoted $1800 to fix it. I get a call saying it will be another $1000 in parts after I paid for a diagnosis and accepted the high $1800 quote. This is not the first time. They said I needed new brakes before. I did not. User's recommendation: Stay away from Pierce Toyota.
