My mom died in September and we hired North Shore Movers to send a crate of her special family items to Portland Oregon. Months and months passed and we never heard from the movers. They never answered or returned our phone calls and we called weekly. When we finally reached a real person (three occasions) the said, "the truck broke down"......"the crate is still in our warehouse"....."Oh we will get it out on the next shipment". They said they'd call us right back. Then we wouldn't hear from them again. We have to hire an attorney to either get our stuff back, or get the insurance money. DO NOT HIRE North Shore Movers! (In the Chicago Area)
