Not happy- missing item

I purchased from this company and they arrived on time- i received them yesterday 11/15/17- One item was missing. So i called them and i was told the item was on back order. The item was available when i ordered and they already charged my credit card for it! I was informed that someone will check with the warehouse and then give me a call back today (11/16/17). Nobody called me so i called them but apparently the office was closed. I just sent a message to customer service. I need my money back because this is illegal charging for an item that was not available and no one told me ahead of time that the item was on back order. I am assuming that if something is on back order, then indicate against the item so that the customer is aware of it before placing an order.
