Replacement windows, down paymentand no windows ordered

Update by user May 22, 2012 Ryan Dietz telephoned me on the morning of May 9th claiming he had mailed a check for $100.00 and demanded that we remove this complain upon receipt of said check. As of today May 22nd, we have received no check and have heard no heard no further word from Mr Dietz since a vile, threatening telephone call from him on the afternoon of Friday May 11th. We contacted our Lawyer in ND at that time. Update by user May 09, 2012 As of yesterday May 8 2012 Ryan Dietz, returned to us $2,ooo.oo of our money as he had said that he would many, many months ago. He has requested, demasnded, this complaint be removed. I think the best is an acknowledgement that most of the money has been repaid as of this date. He says the final $100.00 is in the mail pending the removal/ackonowledgement of this, that payment remains to be seen. Original review posted by user Dec 08, 2011 We signed a contract with Ryan Dietz of Today's Homework on June 29 2011 to provide 12 replacement windows in our house. His was the last of 6 bids we received which included Lowes, Home Depot and Window World, etc. He was aware he needed to beat all of them to win our business. He claimed to have a 'partner' when asked who would be doing the installation, he provided us with a name and ROC #. He failed to keep several appointments to get measurements, then agreed to knock a couple hundred dollars off the price to keep our business. Then the measurements were wrong, no windows. We couldn't get our money back, he could get the windows though, we were told they were ordered, then ready, we took down blinds and curtains and waited, no windows. The 'partner' Jason Liddy of J&S Remodeling has been trying to help us and some other people, he is NOT really Ryans partner, he has gotten some money back. Ryan is in Baldwin N.D. we are working on getting the exact address to get him if we can! We will help all we can and take all the help we can get!!!
