Unknown charge

I was charged twice, 2 different amounts upon returning car. Calling the drop off location revealed one charge was gas. Okay. The second they didnt know what it was for. Advised to call customer service. No help, advised to email customer service. No reply. Now my credit card is on it. Big hassle over a simple issue. Makes no sense! Otherwise, went well.
