ZHAN SHABAYEV (John Shabayev) – Europlus Motorsports (North Brunswick, NJ) Scammed The Bank & Myself With A Car

1

Zhan Shabayev (John) sold me a broken vehicle. He took the vehicle back and promised to flat cancel the loan (pay off the car). He did not deliver on his agreement. The bank is going after me for money for a vehicle that I do not have in possession anymore. John Shabayev commited fraud against myself and the financing company. The vehicle that I purchased and financed through Europlus Motorsports broke down two weeks after I picked it up. The vehicle went to a dealer repair shop. The dealer told me that the car needs a new engine and my warranty will not cover it. So John Shabayev said to me that he will take the car back and flat cancel the deal. I was explained that "flat cancel" means that the dealership has to send the bank that financed the car the money back. I removed the car from my insurance policy. I learned that the bank funded the car deal within a few simple days of me taking possession of it. One month goes by and the car still has not been paid off. Scam artist and fraud extraordinaire Zhan Shabayev aka John Shabayev who resides in East Brunswick, NJ basically took the money that was funded and used it to pay off his personal debts. John Shabayev of Europlus Motorsports committed fraud against the bank. It turns out that John Shabayev was in the process of closing down Europlus Motorsports and going out of business. It was learned that he is filing for bankruptcy and might even be losing his home. At the same time he has been pulling shady tricks by also not paying his employees their wages. So the story gets better. It turns out the car got fixed and the problem was not the engine. It was a small part of an injector in the engine that needed to be replaced. The dealer fixed. John offered for me to take the car back fixed. I finally decided that since I loved the car I want it so I will take it. At this point I am about 6 days past due on making my first payment on the car. I arrive at Europlus Motorsports in North Brunswick, NJ. What I find in utter shock is that my car was in an accident and the airbags were deployed. It turns out the sales person at the dealership took the car to get detailed for me. On the way back he was driving and texting. He hit the car in front of him. There was no body damange. However, a sensor was hit and the airbags deployed. We were thinking that the car is totalled and now Europlus Motorsports insurance company was going to pay it off. Keep in mind the car had a dealer plate on it when this incident happened. It is now completely the dealer's fault and responsibility. I refused to take this car. Now John Shabayev comes over to me and shakes my hand apologizing and promising me that he will get this paid off and take it. Fast forward to a few days ago where I am now 22 days past due to make the first payment. I have no car. I have no idea where the car is. John Shabayev of East Brunswick, NJ and owner of Europlus Motorsports of North Brunswick, NJ tells me that the insurance did not deem the car as a total loss. They were giving him $5, 000 to fix it. He wanted me to take the car back and fix it on my own. He said he would give me more money if the insurance company gave him more. I thought to myself how shady and against the law John Shabayev is trying to do things. I did not accept his offer. He said to me "I will find a way to do the right thing by you". He even admitted to me that he burned a lot of other customers and left them with problems but he will not do that to me. Here I am four days later sitting here and typing this and I have not heard from conman criminal fraudster John Shabayev. The banks wants to get paid and my credit is about get hurt. Again I have no idea where the car is or what is going on. As of a few days ago Europlus Motorsports is closed and no longer doing business. I have calls out to attorneys. I am even working with the higher ups at the bank to find out what needs to be done. John Shabayev scammed everyone. His employees final paychecks bounced too. Apparently Mr. John Shabayev plans to open up another dealership or be somehow involved as a partner in a new business. BUYER BEWARE! John Shabayev aka Zhan Shabayev must never again operate or attempt to open an automobile dealership. He is a fraud and criminal. He has been beating people out of money for a while now. He will promise you that he will handle it and bury you more.
