You pay no matter who’s at fault

Cost is average. Customer service is okay. But don’t have an accident! They don’t collect from the at fault driver (I was rear ended and had to pay.) So you pay thru the nose despite not causing the accident. This the second time TRAVELERS has not taken care of me as a longtime customer. They never told me they would not collect from the at fault drivers insurance. As a consumer, I thought TRAVELERS was the best until I had to use it! A real wake up call. I’ve spoken with company reps and my own insurance broker about this. Excuses and no real explanation other then the other company refused to pay. The driver of the other car rear ended me the damage was on the rear of the car I didn’t think you could refuse to pay in a case like that. Unfortunately, they just said they wouldn’t pay and that was that.
