Yes, pissed and ashamed.

I fell for it and it won't happen again. I was installing my new HP printer when a 'help' pop up appeared in the lower left corner of my computer. It appeared to be an HP help so I clicked on it and was chatting with a woman who acted like an HP employee. She said someone would call me shortly after asking for my phone number. I was called within a few minutes. The technician asked for permission to access my computer and I foolishly granted it. He claimed that my computer was in danger because of all the foreign IP addresses he found. He wanted to install a better fire wall to protect my network. $500 later, I had nothing to show for this scam except the credit card bill with Geek Technicians. I'm ashamed that I fell for it, but "fool me twice...".
