I entered the Ollie's on Country club rd. in winston salem , NC. I lived in the area for 4 yrs and returned to pick up a few things. The girl at the register did greet me in between complaining about wanting to get off. I heard all four women complaining ( very loud all over the store) about hours and work conditions. So i get in line and the girl says she shut down her register. So i get into another line and that lady chatted about everything from the family names to a kid signing up for something and a cash donation? The girl that closed her register was bragging about receiving $49.50 in donations?? After over 10 mins in line the lady asked me if I'd like to round up 95 cents to donate. Of course not. All this time they were discussing how they could tell who would donate and who wouldn't?? This was baaaaddd!! Pandering, chit chat, scolding, and poor judgement on that managers part engaging in this horrible show. Upon exiting i said thank you maam for checking me out in such a timely manner and she said with a scowl on her face. Have a good day sir. My they managed to greet me in and out of the place so i can only assume that's all they need to do for customer service now at that location.
