Worthless Manufacturer’s Coupons

The Scotts Miracle Gro Co. printed two coupons for customers to receive (depending on product size) $2.00 & $4.00 off the price of three of their lawn fertilizer products. The problem? Scott's products are mostly sold by three national home center stores (Lowes, The Home Depot, and ???[I forgot the third]. Well . . . all three REFUSE to accept them. I contacted Scotts and Lowes over this matter. Scotts response: "We cannot compel any store to accept our coupons." Lowe's: The usual BS -"Our prices are already low." I'd love to see a class-action lawsuit over this!
