Worst service ever experience

First of all, from sit down time to receiving drinks was about 20 minutes. This was about 1pm in the evening so it wasn’t rush hour & fairly calm. Once food arrived all of it was not ready, and waitress explained the rest is coming. “Ok, that’s fine I get it”. Toast came placed on table and left it was the wrong kind of toast. We asked for refill of coffee and water that was never given, she said ok. Meanwhile everyone else around us was taken care of. She started busting down tables, we are half way in our meal had to get her attention and ask about the pancakes again, still no coffee refill or water. She proceeds to tell us she has no control of the kitchen when they are cooking. So manager comes we explain what happen, and she saids I would have done the same thing. At this time, I can’t believe my ears and I’ve lost my appetite. She comes back and tell us don’t worry about the bill it was taken care. We visit this location frequently because we shop at the Home Depot every weekend for home projects. We didn’t come for a free meal just simply wanted the quality service we were accustomed too. We will continue to visit Denny’s, just never this location again ever. So sad if management handle this situation properly we could’ve been continue loyal customers.
