Worst service and worst customer service

Update by user Sep 20, 2020 They continue to hold my phone hostage and are over charging me into a new billing cycle, when one phone went out of service on aug 10 (could not get over one bar and sound was all muffled. Took to Geek squad to test phone and found it is not the phone, it is the service) Other 2 phones were already transfered out earlier last month. Sent them proof in writing from tmobil proving none of their sim cards would work for us, due to our phones and local towers), sent them proof nothing wrong with my phone, and they withheld me my phone number to transfer, even when it was in service. Blocked my emails, yet consumer protection was able to use it, and they claimed noone could. Lie. Now they continue to harrass us with recorded phone messages to different numbers and that is illegal when you tell them they have no permission to do that. They will contact ANY numbers that were on your bill you would call!. We continue to try to settle this, filed 2 dispute letters (refused the first one) still nowhere. Now filed complaint with aarp, since us senior citizens thought we could trust their word. Wrong answer. They should not be pushing a company with other 2400 complaints with the BBB on that cell phone co, complaints on their own forums about the phone co, and consumer protection complaints. Consumer cellular simply will not talk to you for purpose of settling this. Also filed complaint with BBB (they have over 2400 complaints on them by customers), and the FCC Original review posted by user Aug 21, 2020 We went with this co in Dec 2019, and at time service seemed ok. Things changed in approx March 2020, when all of our phones went down to 1 bar for service. Contacting them was horrible. #178 or so in que, over 40 minute wait on phone. Everytime we called they said we had to do a test, when we said one bar service. Every time the calls dropped, and even tho we told them ahead it would, to call us back, and some said they would, no one ever did, not ever. Start over and got dropped again. They would never notate our calls of ever even being made. Said we never called. went to consumer protection and then I tried to contact them, per consumer protection and I copied/pasted this" Your message to ResolutionAdmin@***.com has been blocked". So they don't want to help either. Have problems getting calls, making calls, dropped calls. They claim oh we made calls ok per bill. We are not always home, and many calls had to be repeated. My phone has not worked at all since Aug 9 and I had apple look at it under the warranty, for being muffled, They said it was our service-the lack of it. They are still charging me for not even being able to use my new phone I am still making payments on, they are so called holding hostage, so we can't leave. had a type of emergency, and someone had to drive here about 11 miles each way to tell us, cuz phones don't work with one bar constantly, in that you cannot trust them to work. People say our voices sound muffled too. Tried all their stupid sim cards, and no difference. They do not care period.Am also filing charges with 2 more agencies, and yup, they don't care about that either. When I told them my phone hasn't been able to be used since Aug 9 (and apple did check it out under warranty and did agree-bad service not defective phone) they will not credit me. Say they have to test the phone. LOL User's recommendation: Stay away from this company. Very poor service. Even before covid waits were 178 or so in que and over 40 minute wait on phone. Check Trust pilot for more reviews. Just like ours.
