I stayed at RIU Ocho Rios in December 2017 and was given a severe form of food poisioning. I have stayed at many resorts in Jamaica over the years and had never had this experience. Avoid RIU at all costs. I have recently read in the Detroit news that 2 women were raped by gun point by an entertainment staff member who broke into their room in RIU Reggae Jamaica.... Absolutely disgusting, RIU should be prosecuted for not safeguarding their guests!
