Worst furniture experience in my life

Update by user Nov 13, 2019 11/13/19The day after I wrote my review of COLEMAN Furniture on several sights, I was contacted by a lady that worked for Coleman Furniture.She told me that IF I removed my negative reviews online, they would refund my money in full.I did as they asked and I received a full refund. This is why there were not any negative reviews. Actions speak louder then words. Original review posted by user Sep 25, 2019 If I could give them a 1/2 star I would. My initial order was on 8/5/19. They "sold" an item that was discontinued. Before I could replace the discontinued item with a chest of drawers, they processed my order and said it was shipping on 8-6-19. To purchase the chest that matched the original order would cost an additional $200.00. I then received an email on 8/8/19 stating my order shipped on that date. Which means they lied and could have added the Chest. I think they wanted to upcharge that item. Fast forward 6-7 weeks. I had to call to see when My original order would be delivered, they did not communicate at all. Their web site clearly states that delivery is 2-4 weeks. The company that they use for delivery and set up of furniture had the items for 2 weeks. They scheduled a delivery time with me on 8-17-9 at 12 pm and at 3 pm on the same day, Coleman furniture called me to state that the furniture I ordered was damaged. The Furniture technician did not show up on said day to fix furniture. From order date to possible delivery date (8-5-to 9-24). That is almost 2 months. They wanted me to accept furniture that had been repaired (so they say), they no longer carried the furniture I ordered, so I could not add on the Chest needed to complete the set. They charged my credit card from day one and I began paying interest on items I did not have. The emails and communication they send contradicts it self. They basically say they are customer orientated, but nothing they do backs that up. I was even told by the sales representative - Melissa- that I could not speak to a supervisor. The supervisor would not say anything different then what she said. Don't trust them. After all the time, energy and effort I have wasted on them, I have to pay a 15% restocking fee and I am back to searching for a bedroom set for my daughter. At first glance their reviews seem great. Do some more research and you will see how they really do business.
