Signed up on line with Altice Mobile and confirmed that our 3 numbers with Verizon were transferable. One of our phones would not work on their system so had to upgrade to a newer phone. Phone & SIM cards came several days later. Went through the activation process (as instructed) on each phone at the end of which was a confirmation that transfers of all three numbers was in process and may take about 15 minutes. That did not happen on day 1, day 2, and on day 3 I tried to call for customer service, only to find that no such thing exists. Had to log on to their website and contact an agent for a text chat, who promised it was being worked on and they would contact me upon completion in the next 24 hours. That did not happen and received the same BS promise on day 4, 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12, and 13. After check with the "porting" department at Verizon, I found that no attempt had been made by any provider to transfer our numbers. I logged on to Altice Mobile and cancelled my account. I requested confirmation by email of the cancellation. Agent advised that I could not return the new phone because it was past the 14 day cutoff. I protested that it was day 13 from when I received the phone and CIM cards. He said the 14 days starts with when the order is submitted and there are no exceptions. As of today I have received no communication from them and now have a phone they won't take back and which is locked so not useable with another provider. This company should be avoided like the plague!!!!!
