Worse sheets I have ever purchased in 60 years of housekeeping.
3 years ago, I purchased 2 sets of Kathy Ireland 1,200 count cotton/polyester sheets from Amazon. They were wonderful. Definitely 1,200 count and pretty much wrinkle resistant. Wanted another set, so I looked on Amazon. They no longer carried them. So, I found them at Walmart.com. On-line, they were described and appeared identical to the ones from Amazon. Wow!!! Was I ever wrong. They are as thin as the old-fashioned handkerchiefs that my dad carried 60 years ago. You can see through them!! My Kleenex is about as thick, no kidding!!They were one big mess of set-in wrinkles, forget wrinkle/resistant!!! I put them on the bed, then washed them. A nightmare. Wrinkled so badly I had to stand and try to iron them. both sides. Still, the wrinkles would not come out. In addition the ironing was especially hard because they were not cut evenly and by the time I got to the bottom. the was a 4 inch variance. I got so disgusted trying to iron them, that I wadded them up and threw them out. $60.00 wasted. I'm retired and cannot afford such a waste of money, but refuse to stand and iron the impossible to iron.
