My company does work with all of them they all suck Narragansett bay is very good. I write estimates for all 4 of them. 1st their adjusters have not gone out on any losses since the pandemic started but it's ok for me to go and risk my life and though were doing the carriers job they bust are balls. I write the estimate and uploaded it to a 3rd party out of state, and they review it telling me what's not needed even though they were never there. If there's no picture it never happened. Allstate if 1 wall is damaged that's all their painting. The idea with the system is we will get the rebuild but, if the client doesn't sign the state farm doesn't pay us for the estimate. If we get the job we have to kick back a fee to the 3rd party and if we write an estimate and bill for it again the 3rd part gets part of the fee. They're all horrible and getting worse. Get your agent involved asap and be nice then become crazy person. On homeowner claims contact state ins depart in your state they have to respond to that and file a complaint and you can hire a public adjuster or send them a letter to take them to appraisal. Appraisal will cost you money but 90% of the time ins company looses. Allstate is and allA cart policy most have no building code coverage so on a major loss you on the hook for code upgrades. We work for them, and we can't get the phone numbers for the adjusters to contact them. Big issue is their turn over in the employee department is so high they normally last 2 4 months. Again get your agent involved as soon as you start having problems and if need be pull everything from them. If you have a contractor doing the work, and they don't want to pay over head and profit you can go to appraisal just for that or tell them you want one of there contractors to come out and write the loss almost all the big companies have a rebuild program. And just keep hitting them with ins depart complaints they do not like those. Again Narragansett bay is very good and reasonable. My mom had 2 homes and her car with Statefarm I left them Allstate I worked for and I left them Nationwide is no better and usaa which was good has gotten as bad as the rest. User's recommendation: TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING IN YOUR HOME AND KEEP RECEIPTS.
