Wood in my ice cream

I was eating french silk and then felt something within the ice cream. I pulled it out and it appears to be a piece of woodchip. It saddens me, as I love the flavor and Edy's ice cream in general. Is there any way to be compensated in any way? I don't feel confident to finish this container (there's about 4/5ths left)
