Won’t refund me for their mistake SCAM

We booked through reservation counter for our vacation at Gaylord Opryland Resort/convention center back in July. They took over $1700 immediately from our account when our stay was scheduled for October. When we tried to check in, the confirmation number was no good. Turned out they booked us at The Inn of Opryland, a Gaylord hotel. I called reservation counter and addressed the problem. They became immediately defensive. They didn’t offer to try and switch the hotel to make good on their end. I now had to pay $2200 more to stay at the correct hotel because it was last minute at the Gaylord Opryland Resort/convention. Reservation counter had me on hold for 35 minutes discussing refunds. I was told 24-48 hours for conformation for a refund, an email and phone call to follow up. I received none of the above. It’s now day 7. I’ve called 4 times this week and keep getting the same excuses. 1-they are waiting to listen to the original recorded reservation 2-they are partnered up with another company and don’t have the authority to refund 3- their support team is working on it. I don’t recommend their services.
