Will not honor written contract

I was in my new home for a week, when the washer quite working. The warranty was provided for 4/24/2020 thru 4/24/2021, they stated they will not replace the washer and considered it a pre existing condition, because they stated they did not receive payment from the title company till 5/1/2020. The contract they sent me, is clearly written with an effective and expiration date. They will do everything to get out of honoring their contracts. When I called the office, the ladies there were very rude as well, and would not let me get a word in edgewise. They were also rude with my realtor, when she called to find out what the issue was and why they were not replacing as their contract states. User's recommendation: stay away, far away!
