The site indicates that the report costs $1 and criticizes the other company in which I believe to be CARFAX for charging $40. At least the other company tells you the actual cost of their report and leaves it up to the customer as to whether or not they wish to continue with the purchase. Indicating that a report is $1 then charging $18.95 is scandalous. I never authorized the company to charge me $18.95 for a VIN report. I was that that I would receive a refund and that my account was canceled; therefore, no further charges would be posted to my account. I notified my bank and will notify the BBB next. Since the company monitors all comments - would someone please tell me where on the site I was notified of the $18.95 fee? AND... why this company has not made changes to its website and sales protocol since so many people have indicated that they feel as if they were scammed?
