Wet feet after one year
Paying over £100 for a pair of boots with a 'lifetime warranty' I expected them to give me at least 5 years use. After a year they started leaking with wet feet walking through wet grass. Cotswold's, where they were bought, answer to this was to sell me a pair of Gortex socks for £30. I now have dry feet but the sole has started to come away from the uppers. After 4 years of what I consider light wear, I am 75 and slowing down through arthritis, I am now looking for another pair of boots. They will definitely not be Merrell.
