Westside Chevrolet Service Department Review from Houston, Texas

1

So I did an ignition recall last October on my 08 Impala and the beginning of this month my car engine shut off on me in rush hour traffic. I had to call my mechanic to bail me out and figure out what was wrong. After a week of working on my car he found out the ignition wire burned out. I called the dealership no answer so I called GM and required bout the recall and I was told that a senior supervisor would call me and this was last Thurs, I still haven't gotten a call from the gentlemen Charles. I called the dealership that Friday morning and was told that all the ignition recall was for was to make the hole smaller on the remote entry. I told the guy if that was so then why the gentlemen who pulled my car around from the service station tell me that they changed the chips in the keys and had to resync the keys to the car? He got quiet so I proceeded to tell him what was going on with my car and he responded the type and year of the car it was wear and tear. All I'm asking them to do is pay for all our have of a $700 bill that I have to pay to my mechanic
