We’re nice at first, then the gloves came off..

After being sent to different places, I eventually got a TA post in a primary school through Teacher Active. I loved working there, but they started slacking with the pay and I gave them notice I was leaving the agency. I even had to pester them about refunding my DBS money as they stated you can get it back once you’ve worked certain amount of shifts. They even added a fee to it so I didn’t get the full amount back. I changed agency as this one had better pay rates and continued working with the school, however Teacher Active tried everything in their power to block this opportunity. They called the head master, secretary and kept leaving me voicemails demanding I can’t do that (even though they agreed the first time). I found out the agent (Harpreet) had a girlfriend working at the school, who was informing him I was still there and she also started trying to get information from me, but I didn’t say a word and kept my distance as she didn’t know I was aware of her relationship. The school said I should take a week off until it cooled down, but it didn’t and it was affecting me getting paid. Teacher active started sending invoice to the school that they owe them £3000 for taking me on and the school told them I was not permanent so that is not their responsibility. They were making it so difficult for me for the remainder of the school year and I weren’t even working with them anymore. I even told them to remove my name off the system, but two years later I am still receiving calls, emails and messages from them. Avoid at all costs especially if Harpreet is your agent. Very unprofessional and rude.
