Legos have been a family tradition of ours for decades. They are a bit on the pricey side but unlike so many things these days - they last forever. I can't tell you how many I have stepped on over the years and if I haven't broken them nothing will. There is also the resale value. We gave our son's away after he found sports and girls but I know there is a whole market for them. They make great gifts still to this day. We can get smaller star wars kits at Walgreens for a few bucks which makes them the perfect last minute gift! Like I said, a family tradition.
