Water leaks into home because of poor or no flashing on chimney, roof, windows and front steps. Does Ct Building Code offer any protection or recourse to homeowners for problems due to poor quality and workmanship? The house was completed built in 2007 and I closed 2007. There are other homeowners in our community of approximately two dozen homes built by same builder and many are having similar problems. I would like to understand if our community has any recourse against builder. His LLC company at this juncture I believe has been disolved but he has considerable personal assets.
