Wasted my time, money and didn’t care

I run an event company and we needed 1 more dmx cable for our event tonight. I look online at guitar center for dmx cables, see they finally have one for a reasonable price AND it’s available for pickup today at the store next to my house. I order it online to assure it’ll be there when I get to the store. I then go to the store, give the guy information, and he says he’ll go grab the cable. So he leaves. 5 minutes go by. I see him again running around the store. 10 more minutes go by. Okay now I have to get going soon. 10 more minutes go by. At this point I’m standing right in front of the counter with all employees ignoring me. I’m still waiting for the guy to bring me the cable. 5 minutes later the guys comes back holding the cable. He then looks at me and says okay I can sell it to you for twice the price or I can give it to you in a week. My brain explodes. I say “so that’s the cable right there? That I bought? And you won’t give it to me?” He says “no, this is different. We don’t have yours.” I say “okay but that’s a 15foot dmx cable of the same brand that I purchased?” He refuses to answer the question and ignores me. I then say “hey man, I have a gig tonight and you already made me late and I already paid you for the product, can you possibly work something out? I’ll even take a smaller cable or anything.” He ignores me and answers the phone. I again reiterated “you know the situation right? I paid for something that you said would be here, you wasted my time, and now are asking me to pay twice the price even though the product is in your hand” He stares at me, confused. I once again reiterate “do you understand man? You’re staring at me like you don’t understand what I’m saying.” He turns away and starts working on another counter. He eventually refused to help me and told me that he cancelled the transaction. Now I just wasted a *** of a lot of time, it’s too late for me to find another place with a dmx cable, my event is going to suffer, and you wasted my time=money purposely. I know you guys don’t care. I can tell by the way you treated the situation. I just hope that there’s some sort of repruccussions for the terrible service I got. I’m absolutely amazed that no one in that store chose to help me. Really terrible values you guys have. Hope you either fail or make this right. Thanks for ruining my event.
