On Friday, September 10, 2021, I, Mark Simon was supposed to receive my order from Home Depot. The order was going to my address at 218 Cordell Dr. Crockett, Texas 75835. I, gave my phone number as, point of contact, before delivery. On the date of the delivery, which is September 10, 2021, the delivery was supposed to be made in the time frame of 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. The delivery made it to my location at 10:56 am and attempted to make contact by the phone number given with the order. The delivery driver contacted me only once by phone, but I missed the call. I work the night shift as a police officer for my county. I was patrolling the county severing my community throughout the night, making sure they were safe. So I tried to stay up to receive my order on September 10, 2021, but due to my long hours, I fell asleep. My complaint is the driver only contacted me by phone one time, then return back with my order. I feel if they are going to deliver your order they should try to make contact more than one phone call. I Had been up all morning waiting on the order. Then I received a message stating that the order would be delivered from 10:30 to 2:30 pm. I was called only once and that's it and they return my product back to the store. I attempted to contact the number that call me, but they would not answer the phone. Why would the delivery personnel not answer the phone when the client is trying to make contact with them for delivery. So I called, Home Depot to check the Online status of my delivery and they informed me, that the delivery person has attempted to make the delivery and I was told I could only reschedule my order or cancel my order. I told Home Depot over the phone that this, was a gift for my wife for her birthday and that I really need the order today. They informed me that it has been over an hour and that the person who delivered the rider might be back in Houston by now. I stay two hours from Houston and all the driver had to do is answer the phone, when I called him to return their order. I was so upset the driver would not answer the phone. I am supposed to answer the phone when you call when you deliver my product, but you can't answer the phone when the product is returned undelivered. You dont make an effort to contact me only once by phone, which is not enough. Telling me they don't deliver in my area, but once a week and that's only on Friday. I feel my order should be delivered tomorrow because I was home but only called once by the delivery person. One call is not enough to be making deliveries two hours away.
