Was scammed by one of Shopify’s sites

I purchased a Quad over 4 months ago from a link to a Shopify's site. The Quad show videos and reviews of the item making it look legit, I am sure they took the videos from an actual seller site and linked it to theirs. It has now been 4 months and no quad has arrived and the site is no longer available and of course the tracking number has no movement to show. After contacting Shopify they simply said they have no involvement, and I was better off going to my bank or PayPal to collect my money. User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SHOPIFY.
