Update by user Sep 21, 2020 Here we are in mid September and Chrysler still has not come up with a fix for this warrantee issue. Truck is going in to service again today. Original review posted by user Aug 20, 2020 My new 2019 Diesel RAM 3500 has an engine light (Code P0299), and surging. The Dodge service department in Fairbanks AK has told me this is due to software problem in the PCM which is listed under Star Online Publication S201800****. No one has been able to provide an ETA for the fix on this issue. The engine light can't be reset, still has surging, and auto start will not work as a result too. Given I paid over $75,000 for this truck the lack of an ETA for a fix seems unacceptable. There is now also a NCDS case assigned to this problem. Can you please let me know what the status is for a software update to correct this issue? User's recommendation: Wait for a fix before buying.
