A previous trip to Les Schwab tire center in Benton City, Wa. was expensive but the job was completed in a day’s time. Two years later, the same trip was completely different. I had the same work done, replacement of a tractor tire rim. The crew that works there now lied to me three times about when the job would be completed. I have been a Schwab customer since the 80’s. I’ve heard all of the “You have leaking shocks” and “Your brake pads need replacing” crap for years. After a short comment to let the parts pushers know that I have built cars since the 60’s they quickly retreat. Unfortunately, I’m sure they are successful in selling brake and shock replacement to the regular Joe that are uneccesary. My experiences have been that you will be lied to at a great cost or inconvenience. Keep your beef Les, it’s all bull anyway. There are other tire companies out there.
