Royal Holiday has been nothing but an absolute nightmare since the very beginning. This company promises that you can travel anywhere and anytime you want. Not true. Desired locations are always unavailable. The few times my family and I have been able to use this it was extremely disappointing. My daughter and grandson used the timeshare in Cozumel and wanted to go fishing. The boat company that the resort had promoted was absolutely horrible. There were empty beer bottles, the men had no ID's and they demanded more money. It was so bad that my daughter and grandson left without going on the excursion. He was extremely disappointed. But it seems disappointment in the name of the game with Royal Holiday. My daughter used points to book a place in Vail. When she arrived the unit was run down and needed to be cleaned again before it was usable. Its just one thing after the other with this company. When you call or write to them expressing your disappointment, their answer is to offer other travel locations. Why would I want to go anywhere they have to offer when every place we've been have been disappointing? This company does not care about you as a customer or an individual. They pursued my husband into purchasing this but I lost him a year into ownership. I expressed to the company that I'm retired, on a fixed income, and recovering from cancer. Juan Fonseca, the rep from Royal Holiday, didn't want to hear my story. All he did was question why I couldn't travel when "There are other customers in the same position and they can still utilize the ownership." I have paid so much to this company and they keep asking for more. I have been told I cannot cancel this ownership and my children will have to bear the weight once I am gone. How upsetting is that? Royal Holiday does not deliver on promises and does not care about you. Stay as far away from Royal Holiday as possible!!
