Voddoo, errors made, excessive testing.

I purchased a cellular Doro phone from Consumer cellular last February. It even had some minor glitches at that time, but I lived with them. But they got to the point that it became unbearable to make calls so I called for service. My phone is insured that I pay a monthly fee for. I was put through three days of different tests and it got to the point that I could no longer deal with the inept, obtuse agents and informed them just exactly what they could do with their phone. (No bad language used) One test was to plug in the phone, remove the battery/reinstall it, and leave it on the charger for 4-6 hours. The other was to run a test and then use the phone until the next day and see if it fixed it. Both seemed like Voodoo tactics to me. And the worst mistake of all was to not saving my contacts which they burned off while making the test. Then I reinstalled ALL my contacts and called Target to see if they would sell me a new Doro phone could they transfer my contacts over to the new phone. The girl agreed that, yes she could transfer all my contacts. But when I purchased the new phone the next day and had her transfer data from the old one to the new one, she wiped out my entire contact listing. And though I am using the new phone that works well it won't be too much longer before I get service from some other company unless an apology by those agents is given me. and a refund for the price of the new phone.unknown H A THomson 360-325-**** halandee@***.com User's recommendation: unknown.
