I called the local Supercuts and inform them that I was a disabled veteran with a respiratory disability and that I could not wear masks but I wanted to bring my daughter in for a haircut who would be wearing a mask. The lady on the phone told me it wouldn't be an issue and so we arrived for our appointment. Upon arrival an employee who refuses to disclose their name told me if I wasn't going to wear masks I will need to leave I informed her that had called prior and verified that I would be allowed in the establishment without a mask because of my respiratory disability. Additionally, I had my paperwork with me my disabled veterans card in my military card showing that I was disabled. she told me she didn't care about my paperwork or my cards that need to leave the store immediately because I was violating their policy. I informed her that the Americans disabilities act protected me from their policy she told me she didn't care about that it was still her policy and told me to leave. Apparently Supercuts does not train their employees about health code violations or violating Ada by not allowing disabled individuals access to their facilities.
