Very vague and changing cost structure

1

When I enrolled in curves I am a long time curves user. I outlined my situation I am battling cancer so I am wanting to acheive muscle strength as many of my medical treatments are not particularly kind as to ability to get regular excercise. The responsibility of my necessary absence falls upon me. I paid a yearly enrollment of 100.00 and agreed to pay 64.00 per month. Now I am told should I miss a month that may happen during a chemo run my yearly membership is defunct and must pay another yearly to stay current! I have now paid $170 for about 6 workouts . Although I love the curves resistance equipment with the vague and ever changing high payout and the lack of options to suit individual needs such as mine within reason, the pushy inflexible program plus cramped space and hours of operation which makes attendance even harder ie opens 8 am to 12:30 not convenient for pre work or lunch workouts. Open again from 3 to 6 pm. Not suitable for after work. It takes me an hour to drive there another hour back so add on the gas and this program has been designed as a money pit and no use to me. I will now have to search out other gyms with resonable hours and prices that stay the same take my losses and be loyal to curves no more. I see curves franchises fold constantly not much wonder why. susan
