She was extremely rude, disrespectful and condescending and she wouldn't stop talking. She spoke to me as though I was a little child that she was scolding. She even proceeded to lecture me about the medical field and just she just kept yapping. So, I interrupted her yet still, she wouldn't stop talking but then tells at me "you see, you don't listen...", when I really just wanted to move the call along as I was getting nowhere. When I asked her for her full name, she only gave her first name, after hesitating (which left me to believe that it was a fake name), then said she is the "only Chantal" here. It's like she was relishing a moment of feeling like she was in charge. She clearly was unable to assist me with my concern, but proceeded to lecture me instead of putting me to speak with someone who could help me. From one West Indian to another, she felt too comfortable "sticking" it to me, because that's how we often treat each other when we perceive ourselves as having the upper hand. I was exhausted after listening to her go on and on and so I demanded that she put me to speak to someone else, which she seemed reluctant to do. I eventually hung up before the call was transferred because it was just all too aggravating an experience and I had no energy to speak to the next person.
