Heat pump stopped working thanksgiving weekend. Through diagnosis it was discovered the compressor and other major parts were going to need to be replaced. Now almost 2 weeks later I am still without heat from the heat pump purchased and installed only 3 years ago. I don't feel the equipment was ever working well. Excessive noise, poor cooling and heating. Now I have no idea how long it will take to obtain the parts. A new unit could be here and replaced in 2 days.
